This jacket is a lightweight, Gore-Tex Paclite shell jacket. The colourway is pretty unique with a contrasting camouflage, packable hood. The hood & waist hem are elasticated.
This 2008 collaboration aimed to combine high-end fashion design with technical performance outerwear & create something super exclusive, opposing the mass Global image of sportswear. Griffin discovered that Berghaus was the largest customer of Gore-Tex fabric in Europe & subsequently had a huge archive of unused fabric to experiment with. A sample was mocked up by pinning, stitching & taping the fabric together & was sent off to the Berghaus lab in Sunderland to be officially produced. Very limited numbers of each were produced.
