Taking inspiration from Japanese samurai armour, this jacket has layered fabric on the shoulders to resemble the 'Sode' (large rectangular shoulder protection made from iron and/or leather plates & labelled no7 in slide 3) commonly found on Japanese armour between 794–1185AD. Featuring a spacious, high necked ninja-style hood, off-centre 1/4 zip neck opening with a parrallel stash zipped chest pocket, classic two-tone zipper teeth & elasticated hood & waist hem.
